Berry Bridge & Penbrook campgrounds are privately owned and located east of Valentine Nebraska on the Niobrara River. Berry Bridge is our more developed campground with shower/flush toilet facilities. Penbrook is our primitive campground perfect for the minimalist and has port-a-pot facilities.
Campsite Reservation Policies:
Before proceeding, be sure to have your river trip booked through Little Outlaw or Brewers Canoers if you plan to float the river. Your invoice from your outfitter will have a code you will need to enter to receive our preferred Outfitter camping rate.
⦁ Individual bookings require 100% of the entire balance due, based on current season rates. Group bookings are required to be paid in full within 7 days from the date of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.
⦁ When doing a group booking, Payment must be received within 7 days of making the reservation. If the payment is not received within 7 days of the date the reservation is made, any unclaimed portion of the reservation is canceled automatically by the system. A cancellation notice will be emailed to the address on file.
⦁ Cancellations 30 or more days prior to the arrival date, excluding the arrival date, are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.
⦁ Cancellation less than 30 days prior to the arrival date, excluding the arrival date, are subject to cancellation fee of one night's stay with a minimum of $50.00 fee per site.
⦁ Modifications can be made to an existing reservation when necessary without incurring additional fees. This does not include changing dates. Changing dates is considered a cancellation and cancellation policies may apply. (Modifications, for example, would mean number of days, site alteration to fit party size, things of this nature)
⦁ We do not issue refunds for your guests "no show". When making a reservation we strongly recommend reserving only for the people who are 100% committed. If you have others adding to your party then we suggest calling so we can do an in-house adjustment and by-pass site capacities if need be.
⦁ No cash refunds for early departure. (anything due to weather, too much sun exposure, few to many suds....etc..)
⦁ Any site requested requires the following minimum reservations: Weekends - 2 nights on all sites. Memorial Day, Labor Day & 4th of July - 3 nights on RV and Bunkhouses.
⦁ Lock-in is a feature you can choose to book a specific site. There is a $15.00 fee associated with this feature.
⦁ Base rates include 2 Adults, extra person fees apply.
⦁ All sites have a minimum and maximum site capacity. If you are trying to book a specific site and will have one or two over the maximum capacity you will need to call instead of booking online.

Campground Policies:
⦁ DO NOT CUT TREES OR BUSHES. Firewood is sold at the office at Berry Bridge otherwise Valentine has firewood available at local grocery stores and gas stations. We ask that you don't bring firewood in to keep certain bugs out of this unique fragile eco-system.
⦁ Fire-rings are not to be moved and a charge of $50.00 will be assessed if found doing so. Keep fires inside fire-rings.
⦁ Burning trash, cans, glass, or cigarette butts, anything other than charcoal or wood is prohibited in fire-rings. ($100.00 clean-up fee will be assessed if we find anything other than those two)
⦁ Burn wood no larger than two feet in length.
⦁ Keep flammable materials away from the open fire.
⦁ One picnic table per campsite.
⦁ Hot items damage or can destroy picnic tables. Please use cooling racks or barrier between hot items and the surface of the tables.
⦁ Put out fire upon departure from your site whether you are checking out, floating the river or going for a hike.
⦁ Dispose of your garbage before going to bed each night to prevent raccoons from invading your site. Dumpsters are provided for your convenience. If we have to pick up your trash we will assess another clean-up fee.
⦁ Children must be attended and supervised by an adult at all times.
⦁ Pets are allowed but must be registered at our Berry Bridge office.
⦁ Pets but must be on a leash and not a threat to others.
⦁ A deposit may be required for pets.
⦁ Never leave pets unattended.
⦁ Clean up after your pets and dispose of in dumpsters.
⦁ Speed limit 15 mph, please watch out for children.
⦁ Sites are required to display passes on numbered posts until checkout. If your site is missing its permit with your information please contact the office at 402-376-3474
⦁ Check-In is at 2:00 pm and check-out are at 12:00 pm. Late check-out may be available dependant on site reservations but this would need to be cleared with the office manager the day before. (all times are central standard) 402-376-3474
⦁ Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm until 6:00 am. No generator after 11:00 pm.

General Information:
⦁ Rv sites are equipped with water and electric. Water hydrants can be used to fill tanks but need to be disconnected once filled.
⦁ Berry Bridge RV sites have 20/30/50 amp posts.
⦁ Penbrook RV sites have a max capacity of 30 amp.
⦁ Dump station is north of the Cherry County Hospital in east Valentine.

A 100 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase. Payment for gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase.

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Pets are welcome. Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash and not a threat to your neighbor. Rember, some people are allergic to animals or have had a bad experience with a dog. They are not allowed to run at large nor be left unattended.
